Hi, my name is Bianca Hooper!

I am currently completing my 3rd year of my fashion design degree at Vega school. I have enjoyed this degree from the moment it started. I came into the degree thinking that I would become a designer and I hope that dream does become a reality one day. Throughout the degree I grew to like the retail side of fashion such as fashion buying, this is something that I was unaware that I really enjoyed until learning about it in theory modules. 

 

My friends would describe me as ambitious, reliable and organized. I am a creative and hardworking college student who has a love for fashion. I have excellent time management skills and I am able to work well autonomously or in a group.

For work experience I assisted Bianca Warren with her fashion show at the pencil club for the Durban July on 2 July 2022 (I oversaw hair and make-up, dressed models and assisted with the organization of the show itself, which included working on the program and the order of the show). I have also worked two promotions for Connexit.

My brand MaryB holds the same core values and attributes that I have such as elegance and a want to do better for the environment.
